Finding Strength in Every Struggle
No two recovery journeys are alike. Some begin with breaking free from drugs or alcohol, others with finding stability through behavioral health counseling. At RCA, we meet you where you are with care tailored to your needs. By recognizing the complexity of addiction and mental health, we guide you toward a healthier, more hopeful future.

We provide safe, professional treatment in Scottsdale for alcohol use disorder, opioid addiction, cocaine and methamphetamine dependence, benzodiazepine misuse, and cannabis use. Our programs combine clinical expertise with relapse prevention strategies to help individuals build lasting sobriety.
Addiction
Our licensed clinicians support men and women facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and other behavioral health challenges. Using evidence-based treatment and compassionate care, we help people build stability and strength.
Mental Health
When substance use and mental health challenges overlap, healing requires integrated care. Our dual diagnosis programs combine therapy, medical support, and relapse prevention to treat both conditions together, offering outpatient and residential substance abuse treatment.
Dual DiagnosisPrograms Designed Around Your Recovery
Our most structured outpatient program, PHP offers intensive therapy, medical assistance, and group sessions five days a week. Participants return home in the evenings or stay in supportive housing, creating a safe bridge between inpatient care and independent living.

Designed for those ready for more independence, IOP provides multiple therapy sessions each week. This program balances accountability with flexibility, allowing individuals to continue work, school, or family responsibilities while deepening recovery skills.

For ongoing support, outpatient therapy offers consistent counseling, relapse prevention, and coping strategies. This level of care helps people maintain progress, strengthen resilience, and build confidence in long-term recovery.
Evidence-Based Modalities, Enhanced by Creative Expression

CBT helps identify unhelpful thoughts and patterns that contribute to negative emotions and behaviors. By practicing new ways of thinking, individuals learn healthier strategies for lasting change.

DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies. It teaches skills to regulate emotions, improve relationships, and balance acceptance.

This approach explores how unconscious thoughts and past experiences influence current behaviors. Through insight and self-reflection, individuals can resolve inner conflicts.

Creative outlets such as art, writing, and movement provide safe ways to explore emotions. These practices open new paths to healing, especially for those who find verbal expression difficult.

We use music as a tool for emotional expression, self-discovery, and healing. At RCA, sessions may include creating, recording, or listening to music in a therapeutic setting.

Our relapse prevention framework helps individuals recognize triggers and build strategies to stay grounded in recovery. With practical tools and ongoing support, people strengthen resilience against setbacks.

The Matrix framework combines counseling, group sessions, family support, and educational tools for addiction recovery. This structured approach addresses the physical, psychological, and social aspects of substance use.
